Working Narratives works with social movements to share stories that motivate change and encourage possibilities. Working Narratives provides training, technology, production, and networking to nonprofits and foundations to create social change through storytelling. They believe that social movements are successful when they draw on participants’ personal experiences and local cultures, so they use these tactics to promote social movements and help establish change.

Our Connection:

Board Discretionary Grant. The Skees Family Foundation began working with Working Narratives in 2014 in order to promote their new guide on storytelling for nonprofits. We believe that storytelling is vital to spread awareness and generate passion for change, and we think their guide will do a great job at showing the best way to tell the story.
